THE TEAM
Cinemand was founded in 2015 by filmmakers Michael Gallagher, Jana Winternitz, and Michael Wormser. Together they have produced over 100 projects that span film, commercials, music videos, short films, branded content, interactive web series, and studio marketing campaigns.
In the recent years, Cinemand has produced four feature films, five series, and countless viral videos.
Their most recent film work includes THE THINNING and THE THINNING: NEW WORLD ORDER for Legendary, INTERNET FAMOUS for Lakeshore (now on Netflix), and the award-winning indie drama FUNNY STORY which premiered at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival.
Cinemand produced season 1 of the hit comedy series 'THE REAL BROS OF SIMI VALLEY' starring Jimmy Tatro and seasons 1 and 2 of the new workplace comedy 'PBC' starring Christian A. Pierce, Kate Flannery, Creed Bratton, and Danny Trejo. 'PBC' season 2 features Cheri Oteri and Neil Flynn.
Cinemand is currently in pre-production on the true crime biopic THE LEADER, starring Academy Award® nominee Vera Farmiga, Tim Blake Nelson, and Simon Rex. The film is a co-production with Balcony 9, based on the true events of the Heaven's Gate cult. Cinemand is based in Los Angeles.
